  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
  • Experience across multiple tech stacks at the same time

Technical depth

  • Object oriented PHP and the Laravel 5 framework in depth
  • SQL schema design, SOLID principles and REST API design
  • Software testing with PHPUnit, PHPSpec or Behat
  • MySQL profiling and query optimisation
  • Web frameworks and APIs such as React and Node
  • Full stack work, JavaScript required and TypeScript helpful
  • Unit tests, design discussions, data shape and business logic
  • Relational databases, with other data stores a bonus
